Registration Form | Draws | Past Results Time Frames: Registration forms must be in the tournament director's hands by 9:00 PM the Wednesday before the tournament. Forms should be mailed to Russ Carrington, 22381 Armstrong Dr., Leonardtown, MD 20650. You may email your form to Russ at though3@thoughtfulsoccer.com. However, your registration isn't complete until your check is recieved. If you haven't placed in the mail by Monday at noon, please hand deliver. No late entries will be accepted. Match Notification: The draws will be made on the Thursday before the tournament. Only players who have registered and paid the non-refundable registration fee will be placed in the draw. Absolutely no players will be added to the tournament once the draws have been made. The draws will be posted at bretonbaytennis.com by midnight the Thursday before the tournament. If you do not have access to the web site and would prefer to be called, you must notify or call one of the tournament directors. Player Availability: Matches may be scheduled at any time between the hours of 8AM and 9PM the days of the tournaments. Due to the unforeseeable consequences of inclement weather, players must be available at all times during these hours. Requests for special match times may not be honored. Arriving for Matches: Players should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before each match to sign in. Players more than 15 minutes late will be defaulted. Balls: A new can of balls will be provided for each match. Once-used balls may be substituted for consolation matches. A new can of balls may be substituted at the beginning of any third set, if either player requests this. Matches: All matches will be best two of three sets, ad scoring, 12 point tie breaker. Warm-ups are limited to twelve minutes. The tournament director reserves the right to alter the match format due to time or weather constraints. Sportsmanship and Bonus Matches: Players are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship as stated in the Etiquette Guidelines. The purpose of the tournament is for players to participate and have fun. Toward this end, bonus rounds will be provided for first round losers (court time permitting). |
